"The Saga of Kirk Snyder continues. After being charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault from a break-in at a neighbor's home in March, he's now been found not-competent to stand trial. The ruling was made last Thursday by Judge Neal Bronson. Apparently, Snyder refuses to eat and take medications while being hospitalized twice. He'll be sent to a mental institution for further treatment and be re-evaluated in a year. Based on this evidence, he's been labeled as not-guilty by reason of insanity." http://thecowhideglobe.blogspot.com/2009/06/snyder-saga.html It's a pretty sad outcome so far. This guy was loaded with talent, and I wondered why he didn't stick here, but apparently there were some serious underlying issues. As Eddie Griff showed us, money and professional success don't solve issues of mental illness. Hopefully he gets the help he needs. Mods- please lock or move if this was posted or belongs elsewhere, but he's more recent Rockets history than Tracy Murray.
Thanks, didn't see this. Also, I can never tell what the standard is for these posts. The forum heading for GARM says discussion of ex-Rockets is good and proper, and even mentions Tracy Murray (for the slower group). Heck there's still Vassilis Spanoulis threads in here. Eh well...nothing more to see here, move along.
