This is the first time I've been jealous of the Timberwolves. They have a great roster on their hands and a perfect coach for that team.
Man I don't know about you guys...but I'm excited to see Rubio play with Love and Williams....with Adelman's offense...they might sneak in the playoffs. They have a very strong group of guys. Love, Williams, Beasly, Rubio, Wes, Randolph..who knows?
Looks like Rick Adelman got his Aaron Brooks clone (JJ Barera) so Rubio can kiss playing time goodbye.
Reactions are mixed on Wesley Johnson. He had a very disappointing rookie season. The word bust is thrown around. Either Barea or Ridnour can slip into the SG role. Both are great shooters.
Come on, Barea will be an off guard Sixth Man Rubio - Ridnour Johnson - Barea Beasley - Williams Love - Beasley - Williams - Randolph Darko - Randolph - Pekovic
He definitely had a disappointing rookie season. On a sorry team like the T-Wolves who didn't give a care about winning, he had every chance to show what he could do and I didn't see a whole bunch of potential. He also doesn't strike me as a player who has an attitude to dominate. The "flashes" I saw last year were when he shot lights out from outside. Didn't see him demonstrate a complete floor game at all. I don't know of any T-Wolves fans here (judoka?) but maybe one could enlighten us on Wesley Johnson.

I'm pretty sure we don't have anyone that can stop Love.... However we'll be more integrated at the first game and could pull one out. I only say this because Lowry is a beast and is able to manage teams. I don't know so much about a young Rubio. Pending whether or not he starts.
you can get away with playing small ball as a match up to speed up the tempo and confuse a defense but NOT AS A SYSTEM. It's one thing to do it for half a quarter and another to use it for an entire game.
