LOLs. The beauty of the "supporters" is that they're loud the entire game, supporting the team. The bad thing about the "supporters" is that they're loud the entire game, supporting the team.

Some nice goals from the SOUNDERS FC 2 - 2 [current Champions] CD América at the CONCACAF Champions League Match last night:

Dempsey's direct kick was a thing of beauty that I don't think even Muñoz or Ochoa couldn't have stopped. It was bent like a banana.

They never know when to shut the f*** up (is it really necessary to keep banging that drum and singing through halftime?) and they seem to think it's cool to throw crap on the field...even when it's affecting our players.

That's common on every soccer/football environment. Europe, South America, and all over the world. At least in Houston, we don't riot like hooligans. Sometimes, these people outside North America are taking the games too seriously.

I don't have a problem with it. They sing and chant for all 90+ minutes. I enjoy them throwing streamers and confetti after every Dynamo goal is scored and when the Dynamo win.

Another positive is that The Texian Army, El Batallon, and The Brickwall groups are not ripping off or copying the Rockets' Red Rowdies and the Texans' Bullpen groups.

I haven't follow this tournament because the Dynamo are not in it. I wish they are back in this but I think they have to win either the MLS Cup, U.S. Open Cup, or have the best record in the regular season to even qualify for it.

Honestly, I'm rooting for non-MLS teams to win the CONCACAF Champions League because I want the Dynamo to be the 1st MLS team to win it.

The "they do it in Europe" argument doesn't make it right. So many times I've seen goalies from both teams having to deal with streamers at their feet while the ball is in their box. What happens to you at an MLB, NBA, or NFL game if you throw stuff on the field/court? You are escorted out of the stadium. It can affect the game and I don't think that's right.

Streamers and paper I can see is OK, but bottles, thick and solid objects... NO.

The paper doesn't affect the game at all. If you're going to whine about some streamers, you shouldn't even play. Let your skill beat your opponent.

Any predictions on which formation the Dynamo will use? 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 or maybe 4-3-3? I would like to see a 3-5-2 but I doubt that happens.

I think it'll be some version of a 4-4-2. Might depend on if the Cubo we saw in preseason and from 2014 is the real Cubo.

I'll be at the game on Sunday. Looking forward to it.

I assume Cubo and Bruin will be up top. Not playing Cubo again all year will be a waste

Perhaps something like a defensive diamond in the midfield, with Cubo and Bruin on top?
