How some people say keep D-Mo over TJ is mind boggling. TJ was the starter and clearly the better player with still major upside!! D-Mo's upside is not higher since he is older, has been given enough chances already and has done little with it.

 

Its just amazing how fast Morey can work if he needs to. The Rockets truly have the hardest working FO in the league.

The Rockets also are doing Lin a huge solid here by sending him to LA where he's going to have a good chance at earning his next contract on a bigger stage. Sending him to Philly (while it would have had some novelty locally there) isn't going to do for him career wise what LA is going to do.

Sounds like everything is getting wrapped up quick with step 2 (Thanks Cleveland for the Gee trade). After that everything is easy and can be done in minutes.... not hours or days.... that is assuming Bosh officially commits.

 

Really? Jones is by far the better player, DMo plays small. Wasn't very good at holding things down last season.

Also with Howard AND Bosh, D-Mo just isn't going to get hardly any touches on the low post which is what he really needs to take that step forward we've all been waiting for.

Jones you know what he can do for us, and (more importantly) we see how this guy looks like a stud when matched up with backups or non-allstar caliber PF's... He's a matchup nightmare because he can out athlete bigger PF's and outsize small PF's.

I'm tell you now that Jones will be super important, and will look like a stud coming off the bench against lesser players. If they can keep him, its a huge win for Houston.

 

But Jones isn't Euro enough to make DaDakota's manly part tingle.

 

Make all the moves to sign bosh in ten minutes and wait till last min to match parsons just to screw Cuban

 

Been away from the board the last 10 hrs, how'd all this wheelin' n dealin' by Morey work out ? Err... Nevermind.

 

So how long until we have to match on parsons offer?

He will always be about Dmo, he pretended to support Jones last year but it was like somebody forced him.

@BimaThug: Rockets will spend next several hours figuring out how best to structure Lin/Asik trades, Ariza signing before (likely) matching on Parsons.

 

Um, be better be thinking about adding another piece before matching as well!

Ariza alone doesn't constitute a successful free agency for me.

 

After matching Parsons, shouldn't we have the MLE and the BAE? If we use up the rest of our cap with more signings prior to matching Parsons, we won't get any exceptions. Am I right?
