Parsons is NOT worth the max and should be sign and traded if we do not get Bosh. But he is worth a little more if we get Bosh since we are able to go over the tax line to sign him up.

I think that if we do or don't get Bosh, we will do a sign and trade with Cuban. If we do get Bosh, we will have a little more leverage and can command more.

Can't SNT anymore now that the offer sheet is in. Can only match/no match. If we match we can't even trade him for 6 months, and never again to the Mavs. Which is kind of a solace if you ask me.

Morey should convince Bosh that giving up a million or two to keep TJones is good for him and the team. Tell him he would only need to play 30 minutes a night most games. Take 18 mil and extend your career a few years Duncan style.

The part about never trading is wrong.

He could not be traded to Dallas for ONE YEAR...not forever.

Matching an RFA offer sheet gives the player a no trade clause for one year. Can be traded, but only with his consent. Cannot be traded to Dallas for ANY reason for one year. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Oh, right, because calling this the worst offseason in Rockets history if things fall through is "reasonable skepticism?" What's the point of being a fan if you're going to approach everything with pessimism?

His moniker, GoRox2013, doesn't require optimism any longer.

As a personal aside, I wish people would use a Rube Goldberg machine analogy instead of dominoes. But on to the next step!

Step #2 is Woj/Stein tweet that Asik's deal is finalized.

Step #3 is Feigan announcing the Rockets waived Casspi, Covington (will be resigned most likely), Powell

Step #4 will have to be moving one of D-Mo or Jones.

(Good Lord please let them keep Jones... he's super important to their 3 big rotation coming off the bench. He's a major asset. Don't let him go).

    Step #5... sign Bosh

    Step #6... match Parsons

Step #7... resign Daniels, Covington, Garcia, and maybe even Casspi

Step #8.... vet min backup center if you can get him

DMO over Jones, DMo can play backup Center. Jones can not.

Let's just finish step 6 and take a deep breath. This is going to be a crazy 2 and a half days.

I can't believe how fast the Lin deal got done after the Lebron story broke. Let's hope the rest of the deals can get wrapped up just as quick.

I think the Rockets HAVE TO keep at least one of these guys. Its obvious Jones was the better player last year by far.

I'm still a HUGE D-Mo believer, but you keep the better player if you can. Jones is a huge asset... D-Mo probably has very little trade value (maybe a 2nd rounder at best). If they can't keep Jones.... folks....

We have alot riding on D-Mo.
