    LOL, wow who thought of these lame comic book versions of our players. Check out these descriptions:

    “Center Force” is the super-powered alter-ego of the ever-indomitable Yao Ming, with mechanical hands and extendible limbs, he can leap over tall mountains with a single bound and run at super-human speeds.

    All-Star Tracy McGrady is “Spin Drive.” His already incredible ability to wheel around opponents on the basketball court has now been super charged. As a member of The Hoop Squad, he can spin like a cyclone at top speeds, swooping down on criminals, suctioning them up into the center of the vortex and whisking them off to jail.

    Some people have expressed their concerns on the fact that I only took a day of brainstorm results to come up with this poll, and thus ignored some potential creative and good candidates which people might be able to come up with, if given enough time.

    Also, some people feel that since this is a election with plural candidates, the final result might not reflect the sentiment of the majority.

    Here is what I will do trying to solve these concerns.

    1. This is only the FIRST poll that we will have here on the BBS.

    2. After this first poll expires (by Tuesday morning), I will post another poll with the potential nicknames that people have come up with AFTER this poll is posted, which is the SECOND poll.

    3. The top TWO vote getters of each of these two polls will be moving to the next round. There will be a THIRD poll that will have the final FOUR candidates.

    4. The top two vote getters will move on to the final showdown poll. And the winner of that poll will be the official nicknames that we will give to our new Yao & T-Mac combo.

    Therefore, I encourage everyone to give new ideas in these couple of days left before the second poll is up. So, nothing is final yet.

    I understand I will occupy a total of FOUR poll threads. If the crew frowns upon it and feels it's a waste of bandwidth, I will just cut it short, and have only one or two poll. So, what do you say, crew members and fellow BBSers? :)

    There is only one day left in the poll, looks like M&M and McDynasty will advance to the next round. Too bad my favorite Rush Hour didn't come out. :(

    Someone in another thread called them the "M&M Dynasty". I kind of like that. It combines two of the proposed nicknames and, I think, it is much better than just calling them "M&M". So "M&M Dynasty" & "Rush Hour" are my favorites.

    So how bout we redo the poll but with some of the better new suggestions, and maybe the top 3 from this poll. It won't be a finalized result, but it can help refine the process.

    That way the people that voted for 111 or something can re-cast their votes. Only being able to vote once makes this poll obsolete at this point.
