Just programmed it on my DVR. I see that the Olivia Munn show is out and there's something called the "Paul Reiser Show" in it's place. Eh. I really hope Ferrell doesn't do his old schtick. Maybe something less loud like his Other Guys role.
The little segment with Larry David was funny, but that was because it felt like CYE for about 4 minutes.
When I saw the commercials I thought it looked like a network rip of curb. The LD segment confirmed my suspicions. It had it's moments, Cutler was funny.
Perfect Couples was a Damn good show. It showed me how hot Olivia and The Waitress are. Hope it comes back.
Perfect Couples was ****, was it supposed to be a funny show? Like seriously I honestly didn't know after the first 5 minutes if it was supposed to be funny or like a drama or something. Tonight's Office episode blew. Andy was hilarious though. Will Ferrell will get old fast if he was to stick around.
Will Ferrel's debut was kinda disappointing to be honest. The whole episode was pretty awkward and trying too hard at times. I honestly don't know how this show will go on without Michael Scott
Well, I thought it was pretty funny, and I'm not even a huge Will Ferrell fan. I laughed when they got their shaves.
He didn't exactly knock it out of the park. Agree with you on Michael Scott. Tonight was not encouraging at all.
Tonight wasn't the best glimpse of the future, but Ferrell got a few more episodes to make a bigger impact.
OM MFGoodness. :grin: I laughed the entire time. Spoiler DeAngelo's incorrect assessment of everyone in there was HILARIOUS and it added to the awkwardness of "new boss" that most of us will go through at least once in our lives. :grin: "Hey, funny guy... make laugh. Now."
^^ ^^ I kid. Here we go: It was HARD at first to see WF in such a non-zany characterization... but IT WORKED FOR ME... I ENJOYED IT A LOT... and SO DID MRS SWOLY...
I lauged a lot too in the beginning. But I could see myself getting tired of it quick if WF is pulling off some early Andy Bernardish fake nice guy act.
Slow quiet start to Ferrell's stint, he's only around for 3 more episodes so we'll see how it plays out.
