Agreed. I grew tired of her immediately.

kathy bates is definitely the jump-the-shark moment for that show.

I'm still hoping for Danny McBride to replace Carell when the time comes.

He doesn't seem....professional enough. It just seems hard to believe seeing him run the office. I think they should go to....

    MICHAEL SCARN!

Zach Galifianakis can do a lot more than what he did in the Hangover, have you seen anything else he has been in? It seems like you are making these assumptions from a single movie.

I watch a lot of his stand ups....where he's not "acting".

The guy who take over has to be a bit "kookie" just in order to fit the style of the show. A guy like Dave Foley, who was the boss in Newsradio, has a style that is a bit too smart for a show like the Office. My favorite boss on tv right now is Nick Offerman, but again, I'm not sure his particular style is well suited for the cast and culture of The Office. Zach Galifianakis on the other hand may have the awkward strangeness to make the role work. Also, has anyone considered David Koechner aka Todd Packer? I think he could be good.

Packer is nothing w/o Carrell...Michael Scott's love for him was the only thing that made him semi funny.

There's no way they could probably get him because he's into the movie thing and stuff, but Paul Giamatti would be perfect. Maybe I'm just basing it on Sideways, but he's got enough of that unpredictability to be excellent in that role- plus, he's as good an actor as there is out there.

Giamatti isn't bad....but he seems to have a certain anger about himself that I don't think would fit.

    I completely disagree

I also hope there is some way of getting john krasinski out of the picture as well. Either he leaves or is promoted and has a substantially reduced role in the show.
