Hahha still misinformed too. Lillard scored 0 points in game 6 in the 4th quarter when Lin was guarding him for the most part, and he hits the buzzer beater when genius McHale decides Parsons should stick him for no reason.

Beard busted the first 2 games of the series and really only showed up for 1 game.

Lin's the reason they won game 5 when Bev was sick and Beard was a no-show again.

I agree with this. Bev is not a top starting point guard but considering how the cap will increase the next couple years, we're paying him the right amount for a role player off his rookie contract.

I do, however, think he'll end up getting traded at some point before next trade deadline. But, that's because he's one of a handful of players that would have any value to any other team.

Beverley is not a difference maker. He is serviceable mainly because of his work ethic. He has never been very talented, nor having high IQ.

can't believe there are still people who think this guys is a good defender. If you're going to sacrifice scoring/passing ability for the sake of defense, at least go for the right guy, not this overrated undersized back-up PG

 

Mostly agree. I definitely do not think Bev should be a starter next year.

 

It's clear here ppl just don't like Patrick beverley. He's still a VERY good defender and was prolly our most important player outside of Harden during the season

There's not enough money for all three. Well maybe if you could somehow dump Brewer, Ariza, Bev, Jones, and Dmo. Even then I don't think you can afford three max deals and Harden, Capela, KJ and all of the cap holds.

I seem to recall Lin didnt play at all in the game 4 OT,
so no chance of redemption.

Like another poster said, what is needed is a SG who can guard PGs,
cos really, Harden is the SG only in name.

 

Bev is a beast against kids tho lol
