he's old now, but you can argue he was the best receiver in the NFL when he was in Philly. check your stats.
No, what I don't do is read. I thought you were nominating him for overrated list. (Which he had become, until last year... Love those athletes with resurgent careers.)
I threw that in there for effect. Plus, I was at that game so i'll never turn down a chance to reference that play. But I do agree that Urlacher is overrated. I would take an older, semi-washed up and 'juicing' version of Ray Lewis over him any day of the week.
Really? I can understand not liking him, especially since he played for the hated Cowboys for a couple years, and he's pretty much a locker room cancer. But... He's perhaps one of the most talented wide receivers ever. His statistics are up their with the greatest ever. For a 3-4 year stretch, he was one of the more dominating players on the field in any position. His biggest on field weakness was dropping balls that should have been routine, but he often made catches that other receivers would never had made. You don't have almost 1,000 receptions, over 14,000 yards, and 139 Touchdowns caught and be considered over rated. Heck, his worst year in a while was last year, and he still had 1,000 yards and 10 TDs, career numbers for 99% of receivers. And... I hate the guy. Can't stand him. Can't defend him as a team mate or person. But the due was/is talented and a great on the field player.
Maybe Ray Lewis, Fletcher or Kieth Bullock.. not a LB but I guarantee Sean Taylor would of stopped the bus... (RIP). Perfect example of underrated: Calvin Johnson.
"Did you just saying something dumb? Speak up. I can't hear you!" Edit: I know you said MLB but I still felt the need to do that since that picture of James is currently on my desktop
You can't have a nickname "Megatron" and still be considered underrated. Agreed with supermac. Megatron should be the 3rd WR taken behind Andre and Larry.
As a 2x Megatron owner I agree totally that he's a fantasy football machine. All the same, his statistical dominance certainly (and inexplicably) didn't earn him a spot on the Pro Bowl roster last year. He's probably the third best WR in the league next to Fitz and Andre. It's a shame he wasn't awarded for his outstanding season last year especially considering the circumstances.
Anybody want to know why they call him Megatron? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wXRqyjzyBRg&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wXRqyjzyBRg&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> He Transforms to make the catch He's my favorite non-charger NFL player. Here's another one for you, Underrated: Vincent Jackson; not because I'm a Chargers fan or anything but he led the league last year in deep field catches.. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/x21vo5Wib5w&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/x21vo5Wib5w&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
