The Lowry-Dragic vs. Lin Tracking Thread

Everyone is talking about how "fun" this team is going to be to watch this year and Lin + Harden is the main reason. They both bring celebrity to the roster along with game.

Maybe free agents will see all this media attention and "fun" talk and be more willing to jump on board instead of declaring nationally that they won't resign if traded or just completely ignoring Houston altogether.

The Harden trade wouldn't have happened without the Toronto trade. And if it could have happened, we would have most likely had to give up another player.

The only possible outcomes realistically are Harden/Dragic and Harden/Lin. And opinions for Dragic or Lin are going to be subjective.

 

I actually really happy we don't have a fat point guard anymore and we still have all the rockets fans in china. I'm guessing rockets have the starting backcourt for the west in the Allstar game?? Lol

 

So the evaluation and conclusion is based on and completed on the opening game of the season?

Interesting.

Lin sat out most of third quarter.
Lin didn't get his FT which usually adds about 6 points a night.
Harden had a 37 point game, which usually means all other plays on the team score less.

Can we give it at least half a season?

HARDEN even in all his awesome power could not make it with Toney Douglas. That part was PAINNNNNNFUL - I was pulling my hair out. But once Lin and Harden backcourt was on court , it was on a roll again.

Lin did his job, but we know he can do better. AND HE WILL!
