65% of GMs thought he would win ROY. The only thing Laker-related I want to see on national TV is a Corey Brewer vs. Lonzo Ball shooting contest. Now that's showtime.

Wow, never seen an NBA 'pro' miss that badly on back-to-back attempts.

Second shot was almost an airball, but that first shot was laughably bad.

    "Scud!"

Not sure which is funnier the still shot of that video or the casual “mmmm scud.”

Right now Lonzo is basically a taller Ricky Rubio.

That's all he'll be until he proves otherwise.

I said it the first time I heard LaVar speak and I'll say it again:

    He's ruining his son's career.

Lonzo wouldn't have even been a Top 5 pick had his dad never got in the spotlight, and there'd be far less pressure on the kid to produce.
    .
    .
    .
that doesn't change the fact that he sucks though... kid is trash. Dad put his son's expectations at All-Star in his rookie year lmfao

You are operating under the assumption he can play. Everytime he plays it is exposing him.

The best move is to hide him and blame it on injury. That narrative might squeeze him some more time.
This is rrally cringe to see. Also equally cringe is hearing LA fan make strange comments like they know too. Hey maybe he will turn it around but his body language is all about being cool and hot sh**it. Basketball is clearly not om his list of priorities.

This is like if I got a job as brain surgeon and they wheeled the patient in and gave me a scapel to cut their head open. At that point I would have to play sick and hope for best that they dont fire me.

Credit to the dad for bamboozling to #2 ..being loud over the top has become fashionable in society thess days nd it works apparently.

It doesnt make balls go in baskets though. This is getting ugly quick

feel bad for Lonzo, must be a lot of pressure when you have an obnoxious douche bag of a father constantly bringing negative attention to you. It's hard enough being a rookie, now every minute you play is scrutinized by the national media.

He probably will be fine if he keeps developing his strengths, but he will never be a star without the scoring in this league.

Lonzo in 2 games vs. a mentally checked-out Eric Bledsoe:

    38.0 mpg / 24.0 ppg / 11.5 rpg / 11.0 apg / .487 FG% / .500 3P%

Lonzo in 13 games vs. the rest of the league:

    31.5 mpg / 6.7 ppg / 5.8 rpg / 6.2 apg / .250 FG% / .167 3P%

Seriously though, what the hell's going to happen to this kid if/when he hits the rookie wall? If his shooting gets any worse once his legs get tired, he'll be outright unplayable.

EDIT: Hahaha it's end times over at LakersGround

He is one of the worst hyped rookies I've ever seen. What a joke.
