Hate to say it but the Jazz are coming back quickly. They defend. And they shoot the 3. Those 2 factors mean they are gonna punk a lot of teams and be a pain in the butt to deal with this coming season. They're gonna be battling for a playoff spot. I'll be somewhat surprised if they don't make it barring serious injury.

They are a good team and will be worthy of us hating them again.

    Probably right this time.

    They'll win between 40-50 games.

They have a good squad, Goberts development really did a lot for them. Not sure how good their back court is though. Alec Burks is solid but besides him there isn't much talent (Trey seems like trash and Exum hasn't developed). They also have pretty poor depth.

    Burke / Exum
    Burks
    Hayward
    Favors / Booker
    Gobert

Everybody else is either unproven or scrubish. Would be surprised if they made the playoffs, they are favorites to be 9th seed though.

40 games is 10-12th place in the West

50 games 7-9th place in the West

    That is a wide gap

Gotta agree, my friend. They're on their way up. Too bad about the Dante Exum injury, but there are plenty of players left on the team. I think they miss the playoffs, but they'll finish 10th. Possibly even a winning record. Rudy Gobert is a stud.

They're pretty much everybody's pick for the 8th seed. Shame about Dante Exum though.

Yea they'll probably make the playoffs.

I hope we play them in the first round and destroy them.

    **** the Jazz.

People say that every year about Utah where there is no Jazz and the Timberwolves....and every year they fail

If they can knock Anthony Davis out of the playoffs then they have my attention

    not until then

I don't remember lots of people saying the Jazz would make the playoffs last year.

They were what 9th last year? Or 10th maybe? For sure Portland will be out of the playoffs this year. Mavs possibly too, unsure. They could easily sneak in that 7/8 spot.

TWolves are still a couple years away, if at all.

    Again?

That would imply that there was ever a time when we didn't hate them.

    Yep, pretty much

getting alec burks back this year. they should be able to battle for a playoff spot if not get in with the final spots. ~45 wins give or take is likely good enough for the 8th seed this year in the west.

Youre right. It started after the ASW when their defence became elite and it caught people's attention.

But they have to see what happens with playmaking. Maybe if they make some kind of trade. Otherwise the last spot will be a hard fought battle between the Suns and the Kings and them.
