Maybe finally playing defense has got him tired. Dude is going back to old James Harden. Not caring about D and playing pussified when the whistles don't go your way. Whistles not going your way doesn't stop you from playing D or cutting to the basket. It doesn't mena you just jack up random shots. When harden doesn't have the ball, he just stands there waiting for the ball to come back to him. What happened to cutting to the basket? When he is not on his game, he has a **** mentality.
Overall good read tbh, didn't really like what I read but oh well. "The Key to Stopping James Harden" http://www.sbnation.com/2015/3/22/8272337/phoenix-suns-defense-james-harden-breakdown
I'm sorry, should I care if you know who I am. I didn't ask, the fact that you are getting personal shows that you know you're wrong.
I agree, not sure where people are getting the idea that 25 year olds cant get tired. Especially over the course of 7 or 8 months including the Olympics.
As much as I love Harden this is becoming a painful reality. The guy looks for the fouls WAY to much and when he doesn't get them he just quits. Star players dont act that way. He needs to work on his jumper this off season and become deadly with it then he won't have to rely on the refs.
Harden averages 27 points and 8 FT attempts per game, we are in the 3rd seed, I'm not seeing much quit in that. I guess it's all perspective hunh. I guess quitters also play injured? and only miss 1 game the whole season also?
They do prove that being tired is an unacceptable excuse for an MVP candidate. If Harden is tired, based on his age, usage, and minutes, then he should be in better condition, if he wants to be the best of the best.
Well if Pop did it every other coach should do it. Lol the thing is Pop wasn't doing this with a 25 year old Duncan either.
Yes, and Pop has usually had HCA in every round when winning a championship. This idea that HCA is optional when trying to win a title and it's no big deal to have it has no basis in reality.
You must be one hell of an athlete if you never get tired. I wonder why you are not in the NBA. I have a link from MARIO ELIE saying that he thinks Harden is tired. Clyde Drexler said the same thing but somehow someone who never played a day in the NBA seems to think he knows better, but I'm the one who is arguing for show? hmm
Well technically you guys are arguing, I started this thread, you disagreed with me. Second you guys have said or done nothing to prove otherwise. You haven't offered links to experts you haven't provided anything of substance to back your claims of "It's just a slump" or "He's a quitter" but somehow I'm the one doing it for show, that makes no sense.
It's the coaches job to get your superstar some easy looks at the basket when he's tired, so that he doesn't have to work so hard to get his points... Also having no play maker other than Harden, no rim protection & a defensive specialist 3 point shooter at point guard that can't shoot & gets lit up like the night sky on the Fourth of July puts more pressure on Harden's shoulders to lead the team. Injuries to our 3 Bigs & Papa, starting Dorsey...playing Dorsey, not signing McGee...keeping Dorsey & then trading for a super athletic defensive wing who doesn't play & an old 41% from 3 guard that left his shot & confidence on that charter from New York is burdensome to Harden. Also the fact that Dwight is ready to go, wants to play now as well, but front office is holding off his return as long as possible, must be tough to swallow...especially after TJ went down in Denver game & Smoove vs Suns. This would be mentally draining as well as physically. Side note: I was told Minnesota game was what Suits have marked down as preferred return date, but Dwight wanted to play Magic game as a warm up for Nuggets game in front of our championship squads...just saying... My mail is he could surprise us very soon. Very, very soon in fact...even though Front office want him to 'Pace' himselff to be ready to go come playoffs. But even after all these set backs and trials, we are 3rd in the Western Conference, Harden is playing MVP ball, dropped 50 the other night and God willing we will be at full strength with Home Court in the Playoffs. I love this Team.
Lebron, literally too brakes by passing to cutters for easy layups and what not. We need Brewer and others to cut to the basket more. Is pick and roll not apart of the Rockets playbook? I don't see it.
