I really noticed the urbanization of the Toyota Center when they hired the arena announcer from the And 1 Mixtape Tour.

Ya man, put Calvin Murphy in Affliction shirts and rhinestone jeans. Make Harden shave too.

The Rockets' Urban Experience is good balance for the Texans' Country Experience and the Astros' Remote Outpost Experience.

    American pop culture is "Urbanized".

I'm happy that our team's entertainment has caught up. This isn't 2003 anymore.

As another Season ticket holder I disagree and have complemented the staff about the changes accordingly.

And this is now my new Sig. Thank you

Hip Hop is now nearly 40 years old. Most people 40 and younger, regardless of race, grew up with hip hop as their music of choice. Your complaints are nothing new. Older people used to complain about jazz then rock n' roll. This is just a matter of the times changing. And you'll probably just have to accept that you're getting left behind.

I'm hearing the Rockets will be making a major addition to the Toyota Center Experience. It should happen "soon".

ESPN does a good job of selling the NBA as urban yet trendy... not urban and trashy.

    What do you expect?

Morey got rid of Chandler, Jeremy, Omer and Omri and replaced them with mostly urban players. Of course the Toyota Center experience feels more urban.

Very interesting take. Should they also remove the guys with urban complexion from the roster? How about we trade those thugs Harden and Howard, they seem to embody the "hip hop culture". I'm sure your successful black friends would be in favor of that as well. Maybe they should install brighter lights so its not so dark in there. And whats with using Calvin Murphy and Clide Drexler? Would your successful black friends think Matt Malony and Pete Chilcutt are better options? What other suggestions do you have to "re-purify" the rockets organization so they can resonate and identify with you?

I personally don't like how our assistant coaches have become more urbanized. Me and my well to do black friends all agree!
