The important takeaways from the games: our young players are growing

    The team played solid defense throughout the game. Bench player better in that department compared to the 1st pre-season game.

    My take on the game..

    Howard, Harden, Lin, Parsons and Beverly played as expected - very well as most of those points were inside the paint.
    TJ - played very good defense on David West as he made him work for every shot
    DMo - offense was very good but needs better positioning for those rebounds
    Casspi - offense was really good but even more impressive is 10 rbs
    Brooks - was ok but i don't think he will get any PT when Asik, Garcia and Smith comes back

    Overall, our spacing was great and we pushed the pace as we had planned. Our defense was spectacular on positioning and we had active hands. Pacers did not have a lot of fastbreaks and points on the paint were limited.

    Only negative I felt was we did not do enough pick and rolls.

    Agreed. But Dwight just brings a different level of intimidation. Opposing players know that he's there and swats everything.
