The Houston Rockets tie the NBA record for most 3's in a game

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Fawkward, Feb 5, 2013.

?

Was it a punk move by the Warriors to foul on every possession to deny the new record?

It was a punk move for sure but it was expected. I think most teams would've done the same. Losing by 30 points is embarrassing. Losing by 30 points and letting the other team make history is even worse like rubbing salt into a wound. I think we would've done the same if we were on the receiving end of that beat down to be honest.

Kevin McHale: "What's the problem, just play the game already. Stop the flagrant foul!"
    Mark Jackson: "Make me."
    Kevin Mchale: "f u"
    Mark Jackson: "Make me."
Kevin McHale: "Either way, you're an embarrassment to yourself and your organization. You embarrassed your family and you embarrassed your players."
    Mark Jackson: "Right."
Kevin McHale: "That NBA 3pt record should have an asterisk on it."
    Mark Jackson: "f u"

If you want to keep us from running up the score, STOP US.
If not, man up and take it.

We should just get a shot clock violation every possession just to please those who disagree with getting off a shot when we're up by a large margin.

Mark Jackson will be known forever in the NBA as the coach that didn't want NBA 3pt record to be broke by intentionally fouling the opponents. That's an embarrass resume to have in the NBA really because if you're a "COACH," your job is to "COACH" them to play defense lol. What kind of stupid coach is that?? That's really funny lol.

We still got the record, and Golden State will be in the record books as to loser.

Mark Jackson says they fouled us because they're not going to lie down. Since when is telling your team that since they can't play defense effectively they should just foul intentionally instead so they can quit playing defense, not laying down?

All Mark Jackson did was give extra motivation to a team that just drubbed them by 30+ points.

Definitely a punk move to end up with a flagrant foul against just trying to stop a record.

It's even more ignorant not to score when you're given the opportunity. If you're open for a three take it, if a lane opens up drive. So we should all have the team stand around and brick shots to let the other team catch up?

I don't know why you kill cars, but happy birthday.

And I dvr'd the game, so haven't watched it yet, but it looks like Delfino didn't even play. That fool's jacking threes from the moment he gets out of bed. I bet he's pissed.
