We had more of a chance to win against the Heat than against Portland. If only Lebron missed one of his many fade away 3's we would've won that game easy.

Might be the only time to talk about it because it might not be for very long.

Lakers are 9th, and we're 13th, based on Hollinger's rankings.

According to Sagarin's rankings, Lakers are 10th and we're 12th.

I'd trust that over the win/loss record.

Then again, the Lakers are old and declining.

Anytime you have clearly the best center in the league, you should never be taken lightly. Everyone here wants to poke fun at the Lakers right now because lets face it, they are a hot mess right now.

However, they aren't a team right now you should take lightly EVER. Just too much talent. People were saying the same stuff about Miami being a hot mess back when the big 3 first got together, and look.. its just takes time. Credit Miami for actually being patient enough to see things through with one coach.

So count me in as a guy who isn't going to count the Lakers out right now, and SURELY is not going to start flaunting the Rockets in front of them as if they have just won the NBA title because they have a better record than them IN DECEMBER.

come on, that 2004 team was a failure through and through.

they were built to win it all that year and failed, leading to Shaq and Phil leaving and the rest of the team crumbled for the next 5 years
