It's Harden. Old habits. Didn't McHale and his coaching staff keep telling Harden to move the ball and bodies but Harden kept walking up the ball and waiting till end of shotclock to shoot or pass the ball to a teammate? Even some teammates got frustrated at him.

Harden will never win if he doesn't change his approach to the game. We are not playing MDA's way enough with Harden's style of play. Unfortunately nobody in the organisation has the balls to tell him the truth..

All the old bad habits and usual gripes about Harden came about last game, at the CRUCIAL point. Careless with ball, bad turnovers. Too much junk pull-up 3 heaves. Iso-dribble heavy, looking for calls not plays, bad apathetic defense. And there's no Kardashians, McHale or strippers to blame.

Harden didnt even have to be MVP level just needed to be adequate. But instead he was terrible late. No, Lou Will and Gordon didnt help they were bad too. But then from Harden's decent 11-24 FG of the 13 misses, 11 were THREE point misses. (4-15 from 3). Are we saying he couldnt have a COUPLE of those pull-up 3 possessions instead be other kinds of higher quality shots? Harden was 7-9 on 2's, I dont buy that the late clock pull-up launches help "set up" other looks later. Shoulda just kept with the higher efficiency plays

Russell plays that way, Durant plays that way and guess what... Remember Draymond had the guts to chew out Durant for similar type of basketball play before he got injured except it wasn't so flagrant in the final minutes and OT. D'Antoni is not to blame because Harden is coach, player, bench.

That's not an excuse. Let Gordon handle the ball. Or Bev. Or put Anderson at the high post and run the play through him. There are alternatives to having Harden just dribble the clock down and either jack up a 30-footer that has no prayer of going in or try to attack the paint with 4 seconds left and turn it over.

I agree with the sentiment that Harden is shooting too many low quality 3s. I appreciate that 50 3s per game is the strategy, but not all 3 point shots are created equally.

The majority of Ariza's 3s are uncontested; therefore a higher quality attempt. Whereas Harden launches a lot of 3 balls that leave me mumbling "we could have gotten a better look than that".

Harden's % of low quality 3 point attempts has got to get corrected.

Eric Gordon as the primary ball handler is something that seems we've gone away from in the playoffs and i don't totally understand why. Throughout the season, Zach Lowe presented plenty of examples of Gordon executing the same plays as Harden just as effectively.

We don't need Harden to win this series by himself.

You're almost always wrong but turnovers is where we've always agreed. I will say you're better than the village idiots like larsv8 who pull up some crap like TOV% and other stupid stuff to excuse Jim of his usually high number of turnovers. And it's the at the most critical times. And live ball turnovers that kill us

Our defense can't get set. They just run down the other end and make a bucket

All the worst aspects of our Harden ISO offense were on display in that overtime. So depressing. Got to give some credit to the Spurs for the defense, though.

Harden played great most of the game. It's a shame how it ended.

I've said it multiple times but Harden needs to spend a this off-season shadowing Beverly and his off-season conditioning routine.

True he was scoring at will when he attacked the bucket but these damn threes are his worst enemyis!. It also is a bad habit that is costly because it is a lazy bail out play which he reverts to when he gets tired,

That's like telling Shaq to spend a season with Ray Allen shooting 3's
