I agree with the hippie loser, Van Gundy is trying to slim down Houston a bit...the man is all business Anyways we won
Les should call the Mac vender, tell them he still provide free macs for fans who came to the game tonight. I believe it will be good marketing move and at the same time, you shows good sportsmanship. It won't cost Les much but fans will appreciate it.
Maybe the Big-Mac for the fan will make his Rockets game memory sweeter. You know, something extra to remember this game by.
I thought we get Big Macs if we hold them to 80 points or under, or was it under 80 only? I would've liked Big Macs, but Sloan would've went crazy. And remember when Kobe and Reggie got into that fight because Kobe took a 3 pointer at the end of the game? We don't want that happening. It really is good sportsmanship. I remember last year, Potopenko (sp?) took a jumper at the end of the game when the Sonics had a pretty big lead, and Mark Jackson really let him have it.
Anyone who gets mad because of a missed opportunity for a free Big Mac probably has a lot of a$$ to be kissed.
They had 4 shots at it. Tmac missed a 3. Barrett missed an 18 footer Bowen missed a 20 footer Gaines missed a 16 footer. Any of those go, and it is Big Mac City baby. I don't have a problem with them holding the ball at the end...that is just classy, and what if one of the Rockets players slipped or got hurt going for the score.....nah...we won, bring on the Suns.
The big macs are for any Rockets win where they score 100+ OR hold the opponent to less than 80. Tonight the Jazz managed to be good enough to cover both requirement.
actually - it looks like there is one whiner and 36 people telling him to have a can of shut the **** up !
My guess is that RocketsAstros has had a few beers, and will sober up and agree. He may also be VERY hungry, and want that free big mac....I feel for ya big guy.... DD
Actually, it's "EX" wife. They were divorced two years ago. Second, it is actually Les who is the big animal rights guy. Mrs Alexander was never as big a supporter as Les was and is. Carry on.
