A system run by human ultimately depends on human to do the right thing - to uphold the system or the US Constitution in our case. I sometimes wonder if anyone willing to let go of that control, to rely on non-human in some newer system?

The russification of the GOP is well on its way. Below is from July 2018. With Republican House members (pretty much all of them) and now even Senators joining Trump in pushing Russian's propaganda, it's probably over 50% by now. July 2018: "There's one other variable, and this is a little bit disturbing. In 2014, 22 percent of Republicans said that Russia was an ally, this was from a Gallup poll. That number's now 40 percent," Cannon told Hill.TV's Joe Concha on "What America's Thinking," referring to two Gallup polls on American attitudes toward Moscow. "Now, what's happened in four years? Well, nothing good. Russia solidified its annexation of Crimea. Its separatists armed by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin's army shot down a passenger airline, killed a bunch of Dutch children. ... The Russians have apparently continued to assassinate people on British soil. That number shouldn't go up among Republicans, and it has," he said. "The only thing I can think of there is President Trump's constant refrain about the witch hunt and Russia, and conflating these issues has made respondents to this poll, not a trick question exactly, but there's a little bit of 'I have to stick up for my team there. The president is saying we can get along with Russia, OK maybe we can get along with Russia,' " Cannon said.
This is very interesting. I shouldn't be surprised by the way voters support the congressmen who support our adversary, Russia. It shows what a president can do with his office. It's a shame that this president has chosen to strengthen the position and standing of an authoritarian regime who starts wars of aggression, and murders people on the soil of our allies in addition to the espionage attacks on our own country.
The bigger question in why NBC has yet to figure out that Chuck Todd is the worst journalist in the media today. The GOP consistently feels like his shows are where they get the green light to push whatever propaganda they want. Yes... sometimes he pushes back, but the continual green light to push propaganda and his obsession with whataboutism renders him a conveyer of the disinformation era we are in today. Chuck Todd is a problem for journalism.
tbh, it’s just human nature and it’s why leaders and people in power have a greater responsibility in what they say and do
interview with Ukranian official who replaced the guy Biden got fired, claims Ambassador Yovanovitch tried to get him to close cases and stifled his money laundering investigations while she was working for Obama/Biden
He pushes back all the time. And he seldom has guest that do this. How would you interview these people?
Not really relevant in any way to Trump's impeachment. That being said if there is a corrupt Biden, I am more than happy to have them held accountable.
