Bulls needed to retool after 1993 anyways, who says the Bulls get out of the East in 1994. It's honestly more disrespectful to the Knicks than the Rockets. That was the best Knicks squad ever, they had an endless bench of solid players.

Hakeem Olajuwon was the best basketball player in the NBA for most of the seasons from 1989 to 1996. If Houston were a preferred market, we wouldn't have to debate how great he was.

Why state the dumb Jordan asterisk? Thought it was an article of respect towards Hakeem, and not dumb comments?

I'm glad to see it correctly says Jordan was "briefly" retired. Most people seem to think Jordan was retired for the entire 1994 and 1995 seasons. Jordan played in 1995, and his team got beat by a young talented Orlando Magic team. The Magic, as we all know, were swept by the Rockets in the Finals.
