Alexis Sanchez sucks. Be ready to be disappointed, ala Ozil.

You're right: I demand Bosh come to the Rockets anyway! That should fix it.

Well , if you want someone who does not want to bang in the post and does not want to rebound but likes to shoot the open Js, why not play a SF or a SG? Why pay a psuedo-PF close to $100M to do that?

BTW how about "Bosh does a 69 at the last second" for your sig. Fits him better.

Yes, waiting for someone else to pick him up as well so I can truly celebrate.

That will be twice that Morey has gone hard after these two and both times they have rejected the Rockets.

It is a blessing in disguise (both times).

you can solely be depended on free agent signings. need a coach, need a system, and a developmental program to bring players in to the system.

im not saying the rockets need to be the spurs, but there are some aspects that could be adopted and molded into the rockets formula.

are the rockets going to perpetually wait for free agents year after year to get past the bump?

it's not like the team is devoid of superstars. there are 2 in houston now.

Lin, Asik, and even Bosh really aren't the story about this whole past weird 72 hours.

    Its Parsons.

The events today potentially solidified the fact that either 3 things are about to happen-

    A. Parsons will be let go, and the Rockets will make due till next offseason (potentially ruin a year of Harden & Howard's prime)

    B. The Rockets match Parsons & other than a few minor moves are mostly locked into this roster for the next two years with no ability to bring in a major player.

    or

    C. Morey pull a rabbit out of his a$% at the last minute and before the end of the day tomm is able to bring in another player/s and then match Parsons... however given what the market looks like right now, its highly unlikely anything major happens that we can see.

Anyway you look at it, the real story is about Chandler Parsons.

I tend to agree with the OP.

What concerns me is that we seem to struggle attracting top talent, even when we have the right amount of $$$ pegged.

And I'm even more concerned that we're going to match Chandler's stupidly huge contract and hamper ourselves even worse going forward.

what are some of these role players?

it's not end of world, there's still a bunch of decent guys out there, but just kind of risky that's all. but really i wonder what d12 and harden are thinking right now about the organization

McHale better buy some kneepads and go deep on Flip to prove whatever worth he has left by sending Love over.

For the NBA it has to be Lebron. Parsons cannot hold a candle to him.

I think we can build around Harden and Howard.

Bosh for the Max was too much, and I like Parsons , but not at 15mill/year.

Lin, he is not dependable because of his terrible decision making.

Linsanity will never happen again because they figured out his weaknesses and he hasn't really improved after teams figured him out.

I don't know what we have to do, but I do trust Morey.

It's not our money and Bosh was an ideal fit since we wouldn't had to give up assets. I'm over it.

    In Morey I Trust.

You get better role players like Lance Stevenson, hard workers.

Comparable players to Parsons who are hungrier and less self centered.

Get players like Bledsoe. Very young and already good.

Make a move for a PG like Rondo, still could get solid guys like Thad Young, Anderson, would not mind Jeff Green.

Agreed, even Miami fans are not happy signing Bosh for that much, to me he's certainly not a max player.

And paying 15mil to Parsons is too high too, i hope Rockets dont match, we need a good defensive SF and i think Ariza fits that role, he showed that he's a solid player last season but only for the right price.
