The Cars - HOUSTON - 1984

    That is the standard for Cars shows (from what I have read...never had the opportunity to see the band live before Orr died). Ocasek has always stated that he doesn't like performing live and doesn't feel like an "entertainer" and prefers songwriting/recording/producing over actual performing.

    That shows in the energy of the shows, though he sounds great (and so did Orr...criminally underrated as a singer...most don't even know he sings on like half of the songs)

    Even though people cooler than I am like to bad-mouth Heartbeat City, I don't see how You Might Think isn't about as perfect a pop song as there is:
