The Bucks-Warriors finals has the potential to be the G.O.A.T

The Bucks will be lucky to get one win.

Warriors are going to take them behind the tool shed and beat dat ass.

 

With Durant available it will be Green that gets Giannis and the aim would be to not give him clear path drives. Lopez in the post would be limited as it crowds the paint for Giannis. Lopez will become a liability as he will have to guard someone on the perimeter while durant can guard him at the 3pt line.

Without Durant there is no Hampton's 5 and the 5th spot will be taken by Damian Jones (likely starter) and Bell. Not to stop Giannis but limit him getting into the paint and instead sending him to FT. Jones and Bell will have enough athleticism to keep up with Giannis and let GSW play at a fast pace, as opposed to with Looney and Bogut.

What Toronto tried to do in the first 3 qtrs of game 1, is the normal playing mode of GSW and warrior are much better at it. The reliance on stretch bigs is the buck's strength and weakness. The likes of Mirotic, Lopez and Ilya dont have the athleticism to stay on the court against GSW.

All those saying the Warriors are going to wax the Bucks are really really going to be in for a surprise. I'm almost certain Milwaukee will bully the Warriors around into a short series. The Warriors, like the rest of the league has no answer physically for Giannis getting shots at the rim - all the things GS is good at defensively won't matter when guarding Giannis and the Bucks' length & athleticism will disrupt GS's shooters in a way that they have never had to deal with before. Maybe the Warriors get a game or two(at the most) if they get really hot from deep and start pulling up from 35+ft but short of multiple Warriors shooters getting really hot from deep at the same time, the Warriors are destined to lose this series. This very much reminds me of that last Lakers team before Shaq and Kobe broke up - the one who got rolled by Detroit after unraveling when entering the matchup as heavy favorites.

Mark my words - this will be a slaughter.
