Looks only go so far...I love to laugh and be silly so I'll take that over looks...A conversation is much better if both people participate...

However, they have to be in shape...

 

This isn't too hard to believe. I read somewhere that most people go after someone who is on the same level of attractiveness that they are on. And I definitely agree that a woman's looks are important to guys (why else do women make an effort to wear make-up, hot clothes, etc.?). However, I am not so sure that a woman takes as much stock into a guy's looks as the guy does with her. I also read somewhere that if a guy can't make a woman laugh, then he has no shot with her (not talking about one-night stands but long-lasting relationships), no matter how good-looking he is.

I feel so incredibly fortunate that the woman in my life is not only beautiful but one that feels that I am the most handsome man in the world. I know that I did not settle and it is such a great feeling to know that! One thing I learned is that confidence is definitely big for guys. My wife was really the first beautiful woman to tell me I was nice-looking which did wonders for my confidence.

I'll also add that yes her building me up was a big reason why I fell in love with her; however, the chemistry we have was beyond explosive. Sometimes there are things in life that you can't explain and the chemistry of love is definitely one of those things (along with many others such as why was the macarena so damn popular? ).

You cannot Love someone you think is ugly . . . .
If you like someone that is ugly . . they no so ugly anymore
they actually begin to look appealling . . . .
Love will do that .. .

but Ugly people will have to put in more work
than a beautiful person . . it is the life we live

if someone is ugly enough . . .you may never know cause they are dismissed

Guys are attracted to looks and women to looks and money? If they had thrown in that women like jerks, this would have been the most pointless study ever. Maybe that is what "ambition" was code for.

 

Men settle for the hottest chick that will have sex with them and isn't just too crazy.

 

I got a man with looks, brains, and a hilarious personality. I'm pretty damn lucky.

 

Good thread, makes me wonder about my g/f she is not as attractive as others but she puts in the effort to win my affection even started to watch the rockets!!! Well see what happens.
