RIP. Saw them in the mid 90's at the Summit. Not sure I remember much of it though! he seemed relatively positive and affirmative in that they got it early. I don't know anything about this cancer. I wonder if they took a less aggressive approach because they thought they were so early on it?
Like many of you, I grew up on the Beastie Boys. My parents still have an old VHS home movie in which my brother and I perform (lip sync) the entire Licensed to Ill album. Gonna have to put that on next time I'm at their place. Rest in Peace
