I don't think you are helping your case of being seen as a rational human expressing reasonable criticisms

90 years ago this post would’ve been about the unholy alliance of Zionism and Bolshevism.
Well maybe not since there was no internet 100 years ago.

“From Winston Churchill to the Nazis, anticommunists have long blamed the spread of socialism on Jews. With the Left again on the rise, the antisemitic trope of "Judeo-Bolshevism" is back.”

Yes the linking of Jews to resistance collective movements is a long tired anti-Semitic trope and the funny thing is how self fulfilling it is. Jews get persecuted, join resistance movements and then get called commies.

You don’t need 90 years ago. Consider how many antisemitic tropes the current Rightwing trots out such as Jewish space lasers and that Jews control the media. People seem to forget that the worst act of antisemitism in recent years in the US was the attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue wasn’t carried out by a Muslim but someone with Rightwing beliefs.

Hey Guys! @AroundTheWorld saw a Tiktok/Xweet about something dealing with his two favorite boogeyman, so that must mean there is an alliance between the two and it involves HUGE AMOUNTS of people. If you don't believe it, he'll post more Xweets and Tiktoks from the same echo chamber.

Here is a Wikipedia article for you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamo-leftism#:~:text=According to Mark Silinsky of,"red-green axis".

And a much longer paper on it:

    https://policyexchange.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Islamism-and-the-Left.pdf

If that's all too long and difficult to understand for you, here's a blog post.

    https://medium.com/@arthur.holtz/the-lefts-alliance-with-islam-26adc9a8c114

Also, an article from Israel about it.

Also, it's quite obvious that it's leftists who deny that this alliance exists - and that they know full well that it exists, but that they are defensive, and lying about it.

Leftists denied the link between Jews and commies also.

I think there's a discussion to be had here, but the OP is NOT the right person to be framing this discussion. Guy comes off as a lunatic that goes down conspiracy theory rabbit holes like I drink water.

I am still reading some of the links. But the first link of yours that I read included these studies.

passive aggressive humor noted in your post. Great stuff.

You clearly aren't serious about a real discussion. But I will say that much of what you've posted here deals with past alliances dealing with alliances on certain oppressive government restrictions against Islam etc. Those are definite areas where the left would align. It isn't that there are people on the left support oppressive Islamic fundamentalism. It's very strange and hypocritical in some ways.

However, it doesn't change the antisemitism from the right, the alliance between the left and antisemitism that also has a long history and is continued to this day.

Does this mean leftists in Iran or Saudi are also aligned with the theocratic leadership there?

There’s nothing unusual with finding common cause with people with whom you otherwise have strong disagreements. This is how coalition-building works. The common cause, it seems to me, is not any particular affinity to Islam or antipathy towards Judaism. It is opposition to Western military power and support of those viewed as the victims of that power.

SJC aka ATW has gone off the boomer deep end. It's not that complicated. You can be about freedom of religion and respect for culture and still be against the aspects of that religion or culture. For example, I think religion about magic fairies, burning bushes, and dying for sins absolutely absurd, but I respect people's right to celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, and Ramadan.

From the young woke ones in my life, I am seeing a rejection of ethnically-based nation-building paradigms, like what Israel is built upon. That may be because they are Americans and ethnic diversity is built into our national dna, making citizenship based in blood foreign and weird. So sympathy for the Palestinians, who have been oppressed for decades for their race and religion in their own homeland, naturally follows. What I don't see at all is any embrace of Islam or Islamism. They see Islam as generally misogynist and homophobic and anti-secular. They might both agree about the oppression of the Palestinian, but they ain't friends.

My atheism and belief that religion is silly isn't making me rant about religious immigrants. That's what atw doesn't get. He is of the ultra right mindset of migrants being invaders who infect the superior culture of the West. It's the same **** they said about the Jews for the past half millennia
