haha, i honestly don't care. it would be cool to win something...but i personally found a couple other threads to be funnier, since with mine there wasn't the anticipation for me...because i was always a part of it. OCP was damn funny too...but it got overkilled.

Thread of the year -- "[Fightting] Help! Need some advice on how to fight bullies" (or something like that.) Funny, funny stuff.

The fighting tips thread was on last year's ballot. I looked it up and saw that it was started by that Francis3422 guy who's been posting in the D&D a bit lately. Needless to say, it puts his posts into perspective.

Thanks for the recognition...but I think Isabel has cornered the market as far as the females go around here! She gets my vote. And as far as your senseless posts go, and I don't know that this is a good thing, but half the time I understand them and find them funny as hell!

    My Votes:

    Funniest Poster: SwoLy-D
    Admin of the Year: Clutch
    Best Female Poster: Isabel
    Best Thread: Photoshop the Pain

Poster of the Year - MadMax (thoughtful and openminded in D&D, humorous and knowledgable in Hangout, and a rabid Rockets and Astros fan in the other forums...it doesnt get better than that as far as all-around BBS activity goes)

Best Rockets Forum Poster - NIKEstrad ( the more prolific of the CBA gods, is always around to correct misconceptions about CBA legality)

Best Hangout Forum Poster - Jeff (thoughtful and intelligent posts at least 90% of the time...no one else has such a high quality post count index)

Lurker of the Year (Formerly Rookie of the Year) -

Funniest Poster - imadrummer or moestavern (Id2k posts consistent gold, and moes is just weird enough to be hilarious)

Admin of the Year - impossible choice...they all bring something different to the board that makes them worthy of this...just go ahead and list all active mods on the ballot(Jeff, Clutch, BrianKagy, keeley and DoD) and let the chips fall where they may.

Female Poster of the Year - Isabel (yea, I know there are more here than just her..and honestly...meggo is a damn close second..but Isabel handles us boys no matter what we throw at her..ya gotta respect that)

    Most Underrated Poster - Deckard/AggieRocket

Thread of the Year - Don't Nair Your Sack or Photoshop The Pain

Most Improved Poster - Sishir Chang (his post quality in D&D this year has been a pleasure, and I dont remember seeing posts from him before this year)

Popeye Award - yaomania (posts about whats happening inside the Rockets facility make this a nobrainer in lue of any stuff from Doc or pops)

    Best Non-Rocket Fan Poster - Nuggets4

YoYao Sponsored Best phrase of the year - "I thought about telling them how I knew a lot of people from Texas online, but then concluded that if I told them this I might as well have just said I masturbate for a living."
(I realize this is kinda long for a phrase...but this is bar none the funniest quote ever posted on this board.)

    Write-in Categories

    Best D&D Poster -
    FranchiseBlade

The YoYao (Attention w**** Of The Year) - SwolyD :p

    The I Need To Get A Life Award - Rocketman95 with over 22.000 posts:eek::p :)

Gametime Chat PBPer of the Year - rockHEAD/Uprising

Gametime Chat Mod of the Year - Puedlfor (for keeping the trigger finger itchy without DoD there)

Does "What's in your CD player" count? I think we have a landslide winner, then. :D

Poster of the Year - Trader Jorge

Best Rockets Forum Poster - tinman

Best Hangout Forum Poster - Stupid Moniker

    Funniest Poster - King Cheetah

Admin of the Year - Dr of Dunk

Female Poster of the Year - we should get rid of this, the girls are tough enough to compete with the boys and it seems silly considering there are like less than ten chicks that have ever posted here. :p ;)

    Most Underrated Poster - fadeaway

YoYao Sponsored Best phrase of the year - sura faints

I haven't really been on the board enough this year to nominate people in the missing categories.

I'm surprised, Lil Pun. It's on the first post of this thread:

"Also, to honor our BBS Legend no longer with us. The 'Best Info Source" Award shall now be named "The Popeye Award" in rememberence."
