I remember wanting him in 2018. Seems that he still had a good season in the mickey mouse season. I'll take him over Raley and Bielak. If Hand is damaged permanently then Dusty will no longer have Raley and Bielak. Win win.
Looks like he either had something go horribly wrong with his mechanics or he may have been using the sticky stuff.
Yeah I wanted him a couple of years ago as well. Heck I wanted him during the off season and even near the trade deadline. I would even take a chance at him now and hope Strom can fix him but unfortunately I think today is the deadline for players being eligible for the playoffs.
That Dodgers SF series would be killer for a division series. Having the dodgers lose in the wild card would be even better.
Rosenthal: Red Sox, other teams with lower vaccination rates may be jeopardizing postseason chances as well as health https://theathletic.com/2806373/202...ddbrqn2c1VOLYqP9mztHdRATvvjKJPxkaIzOgG4xpY2DQ With at least one team, star players are taking a hard line against the vaccine behind the scenes, according to multiple sources. In the clubhouse hierarchy, those players can influence others who are less secure. Well, imagine if a pennant race was decided by unvaccinated players who helped spread an infection, forcing their club to use lesser replacements. While some of those players might resist the vaccine for medical, religious or other reasons, how would vaccinated players on that club feel about teammates who based their decisions more on politics and put their own agendas first? [...] Four contenders, however — the Red Sox, Phillies, Mets and Mariners — are reportedly among the seven clubs short of 85 percent of Tier 1 personnel vaccinated.
What are you going to do when they demand you become a Unich in order to promote the health of the team? You going to go along with it just because they DEMAND it? Is there NO LIMIT? Hey! It's as reasonable a response to the BAUER situation as Jabs are to the COVID situation.
