It's been about a year and 3 weeks since I joined CF's and became apart of the family of CF's. In that time of been on this site day in and day out I have had some crazy times from having multiple all nighters during the dwight Howard decision,the draft and trade deadlines or looming trades. I can honestly say this is the best website for me on the Internet, since becoming a rockets fan the night YAO was drafted being in Australia it's hard to find people who love the nba let alone the rockets as much as everyone on here and who keep up to date with news and games. CF's has changed my life, it was a factor in me getting a job working in stats for my national sporting competition over here (AFL) and has shaped my life and the path it is taking. THANKYOU to posters like clutch, bima, j.r., HAYMITCH, TIZZLE the cat, the mods even the likes of tinman teaching me about our history along with everyone else you know who you all are, thanks everyone for making the site this amazing. So thanks everyone for making this site my homepage and my most used site on the Internet and making my rockets love even stronger. If everyone works out, after the next uni holidays me I'll be coming to The USA (for the first time) and following the rockets every game they play for around a month. Can't wait! Thank you Voice of Anus for becoming the most recognizable poster from Australia! Joking aside, I'm on the same boat as you. This site has been great. It is full of unique personalities from around the world. That is why I'm thankful as well to the founding members and to the people who made sure that this site will still be up today.
Smeggy and Christopher might have something to say about this. (2 of our longest tenured Aussies) Believe it or not, we have had tons of Australian posters from the beginning....and thats not even counting the ones from New Zealand like Elvis. Its a big misconception that this board is only Texans....we have had a large international presence for years before Yao.
