The point is he’s put in time to get better and for the most part could give a **** what the media or other fans think. On all accounts dude works hard, practices non stop, doesn’t b**** out and sit games for minor injuries, and isn’t about creating a bunch of drama to boost his brand. What more can you ask for? He ain’t perfect but I sure as hell prefer to have a guy like James over some of these fake poser diva superstars.
You’re right GS with 4 all stars starting for them and a great coach are going to suck this year....what was I thinking!!!!!!!
Harden is a players mvp and.mvp Hes a franchise max player anywhere he goes Not sure what youre trying to argue about LOF
FIFY Remember game 6 QUITjob against the Spurs at HOME without Kawhi and Parker when he just threw in the towel when we were favorites and then we got blownout real bad? Having said, that no one can question Harden in the regular season. He has the covered to a tee. Playoffs when the pressure is on and lights shine brightest is a different thing altogether
Im telling you that there are plenty of other teams that would give Harden free reign like that and a max contract. Lol, teams would give up the farm for Harden if we put him on the trading block right now.
Harden is the only reason we are even back in championship conversation. I'll never forget the dark times of three straight years of the 14th pick. And I'll never count us out like all the other internet trolls and media personalities, we most certainly are a threat this year to win! I know harden is more competitive than some of us believe, he has gotten better every year so clearly he has passion.
Be ready. When Harden is gone, be it from retirement, injury trade, etc. this franchise will be in purgatory just like the other not coastal sexy cities.
Dude legit wants to be the star, he could have jumped at any point. He's retiring a Rocket. I mean if he did the 1+1 contract thing (like LeBron or even Durant)/short contracts, then it'd be a bit more tense but the guy has signed long extensions everytime. Also he didn't want to be on a team where he wasn't going to be the lead role, I know I read that somewhere regarding OKC/interview, but seeing his wardrobe, he definitely doesn't seem to worry about what anyone thinks, and especially what the media thinks. He feeds off the hate. At least that's what it seems like. I think Houston is always in it with him. Obviously things could change in a few years, but I still think Rockets will retire his number and I think he's the best shot at Houston getting a 3rd chip. Also, way too early to jump ship on him, especially when the guy is clearly staying with the team similar to some older stars. I mean the media wanted him in LA and he's from there "blah blah", and just like Jimmy he's not running home. Obviously this might be speculation and if I'm wrong well whatever, but you don't trade a guy that's getting better every year, his game is going to age very well and he's not even 30 until next month.
ppl easily forget that... We know by now that Harden when he knows we can't win, he will throw in the towel early. He'll still try in the regular season hoping to win the MVP.
Which player is both WILLING and ABLE to replace Harden and single handedly carry the Rockets farther than Harden has?
Our cheap owner doesnt deserve to have James Harden. Seriously. Thank you James Harden. **** you Tilman.
