Man those TxSt fans were some of the most obnoxious fans I've ever encountered. Was beautiful seeing their team get spanked and them leaving by mid 2nd quarter.
I saw Ed Oliver at the game before it started. Talked to him for a bit and he seemed pretty excited about UH.
Yeah, the offense as a whole has really improved since the Tenn Tech game. I'm excited to see conference play start. Tulsa won't be an easy game.
we gotta at least be undefeated and have memphis be undefeated as well. If we beat them then there is a chance.
Done did him in!

Texas State defensive coordinator John Thompson has resigned, per source. It will be a slow roll at first, but the longer we go undefeated the faster we will rise to the top. With Herman on board we'll get a little more recognition then if he wasn't here, and Greg Ward will be a story. I think the team is not nearly as good as the Keenum team, but this team may just have the right mix to go the distance.
the pouhe attitude is the same attitude that the "lost generation" coogs have...uh football was on life support, times have changed, the school has changed, demographics have changed, UH is on the up...
We lost a generation of fans when we were god awful from 93-2002. Its taken some work but we are slowly but surely getting there. In 2005 we played opening week vs Sam Houston and there were 15,000 people at the game. In comparison there were 35,000 in the house Saturday night.
No, I doubt there are any fans of UH who think a 7-win season in 7 years should be the goal. This is a team that has won at least 8 games 4 of the past 6 seasons. His quote was literally the most ignorant sports-related comment I've ever seen on this board.
Really, we're still trying to get back the momentum that Levine lost on his watch. Opening day of last year we had over 40,000 in the new stadium, only to get beat down by a team we had no business losing to.
UH has won 81 games over the last 10 years. That's in the top 40 of all FBS programs. UH isn't "on the up" anymore. UH IS up.
