Come on, nobody can defend this, even jokingly. This is ridiculous.

It is comments like these that will get you onto my ignore list. These people are degreed professionals who were ARRESTED FOR WEARING A T-SHIRT.

I don't like to label people fascists, but this is the kind of thing that fascist governments do.

EDIT: I saw that you were kidding, Faos, but it is truly sad that ANYONE can defend this action in ANY way.

Sorry, IROC it, but you are dead wrong here. The United States Constitution protects free speech for all American citizens, no matter what that free speech consists of. We obviously have a commander in chief who likes to use the United States Constitution as his own personal roll of "TP for his bunghole", as was evidenced in the United States Senate yesterday. George W. Bush's arrogance towards the freedoms that made this country great is turning into his downfall, and, as a freedom loving American who holds the United States Constitution as the most sacred document in our land, I couldn't be more pleased.

    1. I wasn't there, but i heard that there were other people there also wearing T-shirts who were not arrested. What's up with that?

    2. Surely if they had had their diplomas hanging around their necks, this would not have happened. We need more elitism.

It is truly a sad day in America when we have a president that is so insecure that he can't even stand the thought of someone disagreeing with him or his policies. That he would feel threatened by a T shirt!

Do you have a shred of evidence to back up that assertion? DId Bush order the arrest? or did it just happen with him having no idea at all about it?

If you threaten the President it doesn't matter whether it is in his earshot or line of sight. It is illegal and you can (and should) be arrested. Saying you "hate the president" is a statement of opinion not a threat and not illegal (yet). Do you really want to live in a country where our leaders are shielded from the feelings of the citizens?

    1. Has a protestor wearing a T-shirt critical of a sitting President ever been arrested at one of that sitting President's political rallies? Apparently not.

    2. Have citizens protested a sitting President in the past in worse ways than this without being arrested? Definitely.

Do your math, or go back to school, shill.

These liberals have had a field day insulting our President, insulting our country, and insulting our troops and their leadership. So a couple of of the lunatic fringe get arrested. BIG FREAKING DEAL. Obviously they were just there to draw attention to themselves. Obviously they were there to get people angry. They deserved what they got. BOO FREAKING HOO.

You just know that if tj had been around during the Revolutionary War he would be posting his little leaping smilies every time he heard about one of those dirty rebels getting locked up.

Obviously, the neocon rightwing fringe hates our country. They want to trample all over our rights. These fascists are wiping their asses with the constitution. They have absolutely no morals or ethics and continue to prove that they are complete hypocrites. You guys know damn well what happened was wrong, but you love Bush so much that you have to hate our country and everything it stands for to keep the universe balanced.

    oops, almost forgot.
:) <-- This let's me say whatever I want and saves me from consequence. If you respond to this negatively, you are just an uptight neocon who can't take a joke, so let me get my:rolleyes: in there just incase.

    Neocons, fake patriots in disguise!
