Hmm... I can't quite remember to be honest. But I remember flies buzzing around (inside), and that made it less appetizing. What would you recommend?
well it can be a little uncomfortable if it's super hot...and the birds can be annoying. the chicken is great and sausage is good. But my go-to is a chopped beef sandwich, but make sure you get the Jalapeno bread.
Mmm, jalapeno bread. You may have just sold me. If you guys ever find yourself in Pearland, I highly recommend checking out Central Texas BBQ. I'm no BBQ connoisseur by any means (haven't been to any of these big named BBQ places mentioned in the thread), but I think it's pretty damn tasty and for a nice price. I usually get a sliced beef sandwich, three stuffed jalapenos, and a side of banana pudding.
and you think this makes a difference in the taste compared to Hereford, Limousin or any other beef breed you are a sucker for marketing.
i passed thru wichita falls back in 2004 and had some killer bbq at this place right along hwy 287 that was in a converted dairy queen. it might be because i was returning from a 2 week roadtrip out to california to go to coachella, but it was some great bbq.
That meat looks delicious (that's what Mazyar said) ... but the rest of that stuff looks atrocious. That potato salad looks like French Vanilla ice cream, the cole slaw looks like fresh innards of road kill and wtf is that wonder bread?? A huge part of good food is appearance. Some of that looks flat out disgusting.
Goode company is all right, great bread to be sure, but a little overrated/priced, IMO My favorite is Luling City Market (the main one in Luling, although the mini one on Richmond Ave. is almost just as good and is definitely closer).
It's not his fault, DoD, that he's clearly led a sheltered life, not that there's anything wrong with that.
That's what I saw on the packaging near the smoker. I like how you intepret my simple setence as some complex analysis. If I tell you they drove a Toyota does that mean I'm advocating people to buy Japanese?
I meant to say "and IF you think" Although if you don't think it makes a difference why did you type it. what if the package said "Authentic brown cow Beef!"
