Well, it doesn't really matter because that's true of everyone. A bad player like Mallet, for example, sucks against everyone. An average player like Hoyer will struggle against good teams.

But he put a 90+ QBRating against Buffalo (8-8).

He put 100+ QBRatings against Falcons (8-8), Colts (8-8).

He also managed higher than a 70 QBrating (which is medicocre but much higher than Mallet's career QBRating) against the Patriots and Chiefs.

It was also a weak schedule, and he only really crapped the bed stat-wise against the Bengals, putting up Mallet-like numbers there.

Yes...he pays me to say he's average.

Mallet is paying you way more than Hoyer is paying me, that's for sure.

I thought he might, that's grossly overrating him.

It's pretty easy to go to profootballreference.com and look at Hoyer's splits for the year. He's done pretty well in games that are +/- 2 scores. For whatever that means. I know that's all garbage time and I'm not going to get involved in yall's pissing match until new information comes to light.

Well sure, but that's entirely separate from me pointing out the obvious.

I will be rooting for the Texans, as a Titan fan, and I think you should be proud on what the team accomplished and Hoyer should be proud to have taken you there. It's a major accomplishment. It will likely end badly, but it will be fun to see how it goes. A lot more fun than looking forward to the draft. So go Houston! I hope u do it.

torn quad tendon. definitely out and newton is still suffering from an elbow. when in pass protect, he is punching with one arm extend and the other one bent.
