At this point 12 games would be an improvement.

Chachare/Brax/Ques will be fighting for that last spot.

We cannot cut Miller who was a 3rd round pick. If he's on the bubble it's better to look for a trade and get something in return but I think that won't be necessary because we have too many LBs in that projected 53 @J.R. posted. I think OLB Peter Kalambayi is a candidate for practice squad. That move allows you to keep Miller.

I’d much rather keep a 4th OT on the roster than a 5th safety, even if its Lamm. Unless they want to move Kelemete over should something happen.

Team is in win now mode with the defense.

You need to put the best players on the field.

If Braxton practiced well he will make the team.

Q has a leg up in my opinion due to his story and the uncertainty you have with Rankin and his health.

C'mon man you can't say "team is in win now mode" and then immediately say "Q has a leg up imo due to his STORY" that doesn't make any sense. We're trying to win (I agree with you on) not have good stories and Q isn't a good football player anymore. Q is out and the rookie 6th ILB is Practice Squad.

I will say that Miller better be open to ST or his ass might get traded. A few teams looking for WRs right now include SEA, CLE, NE, and JAX.

Two of the LBs are really Special Team starters in disguise, Keyes and Peters.

Understood and I want to keep those two for that reason. It's Kalambayi who doesn't warrant a spot and based on need and talent. He's a practice squad guy.

This is another guy that HAS to prove that he can stay healthy for 16 games. His injuries are Braxton-esque.

What the hell has Tyler Ervin done to warrant a roster spot over Troymaine Pope?? I'm sick of seeing Ervin go down at the first hint of a tackle on every punt return.

Pope makes it over him. Pope still has lots to learn as far as playbook though.

His production in one game has also been better than Braxtons whole career.

True, but as a first round pick, the expectations are that he can actually be on the field producing. I'm not doubting his talent whatsoever though. I'm actually a big fan of his.

All the analysts and even PatDStats believes the Texans love Ervin. We have other returners (Coates, Coutee, Pope, Fuller) who are probably better. But everyone seems to believe Ervin makes the team.

Ervin and Braxton might be BOBs versions of buyers remorse and just cant let them go. Id actually be okay with Braxton over Coates but being so thin at RB, we need to keep Pope over Ervin.

OB has been looking for his version of Dion Lewis for years. Maybe one day he’ll actually find him.
