@DJBienaime: #Texans play the #Dolphins on Saturday for their 2nd preseason game after 2 days of joint practices. On Sat just want to see CJ Stroud have a clean operation and be decisive. In JPs there was unsureness but his WRs didn’t help him enough as the pass attack struggled. There were flashes like Tank in the red zone on Wed.. and Nico on a few plays but in the NFL flashes on Saturday won’t work. On Sat Defense continue stacking good outing. This unit has everything required to be good. Also want to see the offense move the ball thru the ground since that will be their bread and butter. They have the OL and TE to accomplish that.

Reporting from my desk, Bryce Young is quarterback one but is he the one? We will find out in just 5 minutes as both Jones and Young will take snaps under center in this crucial game. Helped by penalties, the Panthers get a drive going in their second series. They refuse to pass the ball. Young 2/5 for 22 yards. Pass the ball, cowards! 1 qtr for Bryce. 3/6 for 35 yards. Meh. His best throw was called back but he showed good elusiveness. No issues seeing down the field. Hyatt for the Giants learned to run a route or 2. hmm.
Is it just me because this does not make any sense! Lol He said the QBs were NOT doing well but that Miami's DBs were struggling against the Texans WRs....well who was throwing the ball to make the WRs look good??
Watched Bryce Young and he looked like a rookie. Slow to read, etc. The game is fast for the youngins. They will adapt.
DeMeco Ryans says they were "a little banged up as a team" and it was in their best interest not to do joint practices with the Saints this week. DeMeco Ryans says there wasn't really a number of players that set them over the edge to cancel their joint practices. The cancellation also allows them to begin their normal regular-season workflow. DeMeco Ryans on Tytus Howard, whose cast was off on his left hand during pre-game warmups on Saturday: "He's heading on the right track for sure." DeMeco Ryans says "we'll see where he is," when asked about Tank Dell's tightness that held him out on Saturday. DeMeco Ryans has been using the preseason to understand the workflow of the coaching staff on the sideline. Matt Burke has been calling defensive plays in the preseason.
