Who is going to sue them? You?

There's absolutely zero legal precedence that would make a lawsuit even possible, let alone less than frivolous.... not to mention there's probably a statute of limitations from the 1996 referendum (that passed allowing them to use the funds as they deemed fit) that has long since expired.

And if there's even the slightest chance that having a retractable roof played an increased role in them getting two Super Bowls (over other dome-only cities like Detroit, St. Louis, Atlanta, and even New Orleans who has only seen one), they won't be looking back on that decision any time soon.

Admitting they were wrong? LOL.... whatever, at the end of the day, they did what they had to do to get a new NFL team here. If the retractable roof helped spur that cause further, I applaud everything about it... much better to have football here than to not.

Yeah there's something else at play, they are getting sued for the field. That's a pretty big indictment on the field, and yes most of the evidence is going to be anecdotal, there's not another field like this to gather other data from, but you can start to see more stories about players complaining about the field.

There has to be something better than that, I just saw a reporter on NFL network pull out sand that they use to fill in the holes and seams. It's embarrassing and probably dangerous.

Yes... a punter who injured himself on a kickoff.... I'm sorry, but that's not evidence. That's a freak incident that could happen anywhere.

There's 13 years worth of injury data that should make this an open/shut case if there is an increased risk.

I admit, it "looks" horrible... but if its not proven to be more dangerous, AND the players/coaches prefer it over what they practice on or what they play on in other stadiums, what's the big deal?

If there is a lawsuit, it won't get anywhere. There are just as many injuries on other fields.

It's disgraceful and I hope every team expresses outrage when they play here.

The way the Chiefs ran up and down the field... maybe they should install it at their place too.

Yet another game where the turf monster is a overhyped flop.

That turf doesn't come with our weak ass tackling though.

Maybe the extra juke they seem to deliver can only be done when your cleat catches a seam.

Still surprised nobody ripped up a knee just by walking on it! I hear they brought in extra stretchers.

You stopped making sense awhile ago... But I'm guessing you're upset because the field made Charles look every bit the top 5 RB that he truly is.

    Please be a better poster.

LOL yes, apparently a "top 5 RB" rushes for 57 yards at 3.6 yards per carry. MUCH better than Blue rushing for 42 yards at 4.7 yards per carry.

    Truly an elite running back.

The field is an embarrassment for one of the most prestigious stadiums in the US, hosting the most popular sport in the country and watched by millions in a national television audience. The field is mickey mouse compared to NRG facilities and yet the team won't address it like they address everything else with their millions in recent upgrades. Something doesn't add up.

Seems your forgetting to include yards off receptions. Also seemed he scored...

Sure, but that has more to do with the Texans coverage being weak all game long. As a RB taking the ball from behind the QB there's nothing special about Charles anymore. Add in what he can do as a receiver and he's very good overall, but nowhere near "elite"

You would have probably said the same thing about Marshall Faulk in his prime. Lol.

I agree. It looks terrible. Worse than it ever has.

Still don't see the evidence that it's injuring people.

Get back to making it look better, like they apparently did at the beginning, but keep the same injury rate.

Anybody else see Arizonas field today? The entire midfield had to be resodded.

NRG isn't even in the top ten of NFL stadiums by cost or facilities. Plus it has no history at all like the older cheaper stadiums have. You are sooooo high.
