True on me i like Bridgewater bringing in Fitz when we have Case and TJ just doesn't make good sense.

I would say Barnwell's metric is better, because it actually break down by yardage and their respective "expected rate of TD." It had Foster scoring exactly the amount of TDs he's suppose to. Which makes him more near average than elite.

You have to scroll down a bit if you don't want to read through his explanations to "most frequently used backs" section. I will say one should give Foster credit for getting TDs as frequently given that everyone knew he was going to get the carry, as opposed to a Mike Tolbert where defenses may be concentrating on other things. But you also have to take away credit because the Texans line that year was dominant. Rated by many to be the best or near the best OLine in the NFL.

Two games in. A little early to evaluate anything.

He's also 29th in pass attempts, yes he's a game manager. They are following the same path with him that the Seahawks use with Russell Wilson and the two actually have very similar statlines.

i'd rather have "game manager" that throws tds and convert 3rd downs with a nice running game than a qb who has cute commercials and whose entire offense consists of pass/pass/pass. As long as we make the playoffs.. in the playoffs the different styles can offset, beauty of the nfl.

time to grow beards and i wasn't happy about the addition. I still had turnover machine ryan from a couple of seasons ago and already having experienced schaub turning into buster bluth with one hook at the qb position, I didn't want to go trough turnovers again.

Ryan is turning out to be a great field general which quarterbacking has always been about.

He's doing just what he's supposed to be doing. Don't take sacks, don't throw INTs, change a play at the line of scrimmage every now and then.

These are all things that our last QB couldn't seem to grasp.

But you know, since he's just a game manager and all... would y'all take Kaepernick and a fresh loaf of sour dough bread for him? (And I mean, it's *really* fresh and sour right now.)
