Absolutely. "Your team gives you how much, and you jet off to be with your former team that you were only a BACKUP for?!?"
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Brock Osweiler breakdown video came in at a whopping 28 minutes. Ideally will be (finally) released tomorrow. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Texans?src=hash">#Texans</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FilmRoom?src=hash">#FilmRoom</a></p>— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) <a href="https://twitter.com/BrettKollmann/status/740558750583377920">June 8, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Heath absolutely nailed it. Exactly what I've been saying about Brock. Exactly. The Patriots game earned Osweiler more than 5 million bucks alone. He showed glimpses that he could be a top 5 quarterback in the league in that game. He got paid like a top 12 quarterback, with the team getting an out in case he didn't pan out. Good deal for everyone.
Breaking News: Osweiler and DeAndre Hopkins hate eachother, they don't even go out to lunch or hold hands. Wasted money.

Can't believe the season is still over 3 months away. I guess it feels extra long since the Rockets' season essentially ended in November, and the Astros crushed all wishful thinking right out of the gate.
Thanks, that seems to have some good insight, it's just so repetitive. I wish it was condensed about 1/3 of the length &'it'd be more watchable.
I watched the video and am now ready for the Texans to be the first team to win the Superbowl in their own building this year! In all seriousness, hard not to get pumped after watching it. That said, I do think it is condensable. He spends a little too much time on individual plays.
At times I want to think we go overboard with the "National media hates Houston" narrative we often claim, but then I see reactions to things like the Osweiler signing and I wonder if there is some truth. Maybe I'm just paying attention because it involves my team, but it sure seems like many are rooting for him to fail. And most of the rest aren't really giving him any chance of success. Has there ever been a guy that everyone touted as the next big thing and then so quickly became a scrub without any really bad games? I mean the guy was on the cover of Sports Illustrated in December for goodness sake.
I generally like Brett's work, and in this instance I agree with him and hope he's right, but I think we need to have some context here http://www.battleredblog.com/2014/9/3/6100837/the-film-room-ryan-mallett-houston-we-have-a-monster http://www.battleredblog.com/2013/1...ecision-making-the-case-for-teddy-bridgewater http://www.battleredblog.com/2013/3...at-makes-a-franchise-quarterback-matt-barkley The problem I've always had with Brett doing these sort of things is that he can make convincing arguments for pretty much anyone. He had most of BRB thinking that Teddy Bridgewater was a legitimate candidate for the first overall pick in the draft and that he was the next coming of Aaron Rodgers. He swayed many people, myself included to think that Ryan Mallett would be really great for the Texans when I was against the Texans trading for him. He even convinced some that Matt Barkley was going to be a successful NFL QB when pretty much everyone knew that there was very little chance of that. He does excellent work, and most of the time when he's not talking about QB's (by far the hardest to rate) he's right, but given the times he's led people astray when it comes to his QB breakdowns I have to take this with a grain of salt.
In fairness to him, I bet most people who breakdown film about QBs and dare to make it known to someone are guilty of the same thing. If they weren't, none of these bust QBs would get drafted. The fact that they do means smart people who break down film managed to convinced people with power to take the guy.
