Normally I would not be in favor of getting him but since he is free and they can sign him for just the rest of this year.

    Do it.

He'll never clear waivers, so it won't matter.

I agree. It will take pressure off of Andre and hopefully open up the run game even more with a true deep threat. I dont know for sure what kind of locker room guy he is, but I see it as a low risk, high reward move.

I think it's more likely he clears waivers than not. Just a hunch because of his salary and you don't know if he wants to play for your team or not.

Dude quits on routes. Dude quits on his team. Dude throws fits publicly and privately, distracting from what the team is trying to do.

I can't believe anyone wants this dumbass for the Texans.

In case you haven't noticed, we're pretty damn good at receiver.

    Can he rush the passer?

Too many red flags for me. We've already got a top flight receiving crew.

Stunned by the release, though. Vikings' ship is going down in flames.

I can't help but think that at least ONE team in front of the Texans will go after him, specifically SD.

Nope, but we can't really fix that personnel wise.

Randy Moss wants to win, every time he's on a losing team does he do this. Texans are not a losing team.

Also...the thought of Moss and Andre lining up is going to scare teams. Hell teams will be having nightmares of Andre, Moss, Walter, Daniels, Foster...what?!?!

It'll get to the point where every single guy on the offense has to be accounted for.

Moss demands so much attention, which would free up AJ and OD even more. This would be a much better situation for him to come into than Minnesota.

I'd be ecstatic if he fell down to us.

Pretty much. Seem silly to toss money at something we don't really need. If AJ80 was injured, I'd think about it, but he's fine.

Uncle Bob wouldn't sign an expensive, over 30, high-character, pro bowler at a position of great need... what makes you think he's going to sign an even more expensive, over 30, low-character, pro bowler at a position of little need?

    No thanks.

Too many problems.. maybe if the Texans needed a receiver.. but the Texans are fine right now. No need to fix something that isn't broken.

AJ & Moss would beat Ocho & TO as the best reciever duo.

I don't think others are seeing this.

With Andre and Moss on the field...ONE of them is going to be wide the F open every time they are on the field together.

The Jets have Cromartie and Revis....Everyone will be praising our WR corps until we play against them and realize...damn...we're going to need another #1 type WR like the Cards had Boldin and Fitz.

Are we? I don't really think so. We have the best receiver in the NFL and a bunch of average receivers. Do you honestly think any team game plans against Kevin freakin Walter? Owen Daniels hasn't looked like the old OD to me.. we need PLAYMAKERS on offense. Currently, we have two in Foster and Andre.

I don't understand why people wouldn't want to upgrade a 'position of strength'. It's not like we'd add Moss to the detriment of some CB whose going to see meaningful action. Moss would give us another playmaker on offense, which should help both Andre and Foster operate. Yes, I know he's not the old Randy Moss - but he's still better than what we have.

Let's be honest -- we're not keeping anyone out of the endzone this year. Our best bet is to just outscore them. Signing Moss would be a big help in achieving that.
