I think it was the Carolina game where he couldn't get off a snap and they took a delay of game penalty and that was the point for me I could see Mallet was not worth the time, how he reacted was like a child not a leader of men. Well that and the over sleeping and missing the team plane was just....
All we've heard/read is that Smith vetoed the decision for him to be released on SUNDAY which makes complete sense.. Nothing about keeping him on the team anytime after that. Tania just tweeted that again. Mallett was obviously O'Brien's guy (NE connection, benched Fitz to play him last year). Why in the world would Smith be trying to protect him?????

That's pretty much my problem with BOB, he's a hothead that doesn't think things out. He just makes impulsive decisions that are almost always wrong. It's sad when Rick Smith has to be the voice of reason and the one who ensures the right thing happens. Before the season who would have trusted Rick Smith over BOB?
So, this was a nice distraction from the awful season in the worst division ever. Come monday night, when this team is tied for first place, I wonder what the atmosphere will be like?
Actually, it was used on Ryan Griffith. Arian didn't have to go on it since he was back. You can't return until week 8 if placed on it.
Arian was never put on IR until after his injury on Sunday. Ryan Griffin is designated to return I believe.
No chance in that. Any of the players who hadn't turned on the coaching staff by now certainly will now that they know their head coach wanted to screw them over by going into a game with only one QB on the roster. How are you supposed to respect someone that hotheaded and stupid? I think the Texans get blown out yet again this week.
