Best of luck to him. A very Winston-esqe cut.

Yup, it was a deal that had to happen. If he wants to stick around, he can sign a new deal for a minimum contract. BOB likes his TE's to be big so the era of the undersized Wisconsin TE's is at an end

Sad to see him go, but it was clear that his time here was wrapping up. O'Brian is keen on his TE position, will be interesting to see how he reworks that group. I doubt he sees Graham as a fixture #1 either.

Winston never missed a game for us.

OD has missed nearly a third of the games in the past 5 years. I like him, he's a lower top 10 TE when healthy, but life doesn't operate within that hypothetical. His absolute production has been well below his pay. Time to move on.

Damn, it's not unexpected, but it still sucks. Well here's to hoping that Graham (if we even bring him back) and an unnamed rookie can man the tight end position; it's gonna be extremely important, especially if we have a rookie QB at the helm.

If you're reading this: thank you for the good memories, Owen Daniels. You were always a great player and classy ON and OFF the field.

Unnamed rookie? What about Ryan Griffin? I thought he showed some impressive skill and potential for next year.

You mostly played well when you did play. Enjoy Baltimore.

He showed a lot last year IMO. He's got the size BOB likes in TE's and it wouldn't surprise me to see him be the #1 TE this upcoming season.

Are you seriously asking when Foster is going to "get the axe"?

That's true, I completely forgot about him, my bad. Yeah, he definitely showed a ton of potential, though I'd still expect for B'OB to invest in a TE this draft.

Like everyone else, I'm not at all suprised. Good luck to him.

He's a Texan for life as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care if y'all believe me, but a good friend is best friend with Owen. She said that he met with Rick yesterday and asked to stay. Said he was willing to restructure and take less money to stay. Came away feeling like he wasn't going to get cut.

Obviously he is upset, but i asked what his options were. I guess ravens and patriots, because they have already reached out to him.

I was like, worse teams ever....

Thanks for the memories OD...Classy player and great teammate. Terrific Tight end, who made great plays for this team. He will be missed.
