To the title of the thread, it's completely true. The Astros and Texans both went further than predicted. The Rockets on the other hand has had no big injuries and are in danger of missing the playoffs in a league that sends more than half of it's teams. The Rockets are the team that is massively disappointing, they were supposed to be title contenders.
I know you're mad. You're mad Rockets have multiple championships while Texans have Nada, zilch, zip ZERO. LOL. Rockets championships Texans Championships
He mad Rockets play a real sport and are a far superior franchise to the Texans. He thinks they are on equal footing when in reality Rockets have and will always be the best franchise in this city. He also mad that JJ Fatt is a fake leader and an overrated unathletic LOSER compared to Rockets leaders past and present.
The Rockets are one of the most prestigious & respected franchises in sports with multiple MVP winners & 2 Championship titles. As bad as they've been so far this season they reached the WCF the previous year and were beaten by an all time great team led by the great James Harden. The Texans are the other hand are and will always be a punchline in football. Whether it's wearing Letterman and then proceeding to get blown out in embarrassing fashion on MNF in what's dubbed "the biggest game in Texans history" OR getting shutout at HOME in a wild card game. It doesn't matter, they'll always let you down. Stop tainting the Rockets rep by comparing them to that joke of a franchise.
Why are some people still living in the past, holding onto the memory of the mid 90s championships? It just seems silly to harp on the past, since the past has no effect on the current, abhorrent state of the Texans and current Rockets.

I disagree. We thought the Texans were a team drafting in the top 5. Top 10 at least. We thought the Rockets would be a top 5 team in the NBA. One of these teams exceeded expectations...
