I thought Chip Kelly was a possibility, but that was when I thought Welker was going to be WR coach.. being some offensive assistant is what Kelly would have been.. so I don't think he is coming unfortunately.. Was hoping he could teach Fuller to catch the ball, but he also had a lot of drops.. Maybe he can at least teach some route running.. to all of them.
Nope...though he is a local kid. He was a year ahead of me at McCullough HS in The Woodlands and then played at Rice. That said, I wouldn't say he did a great job last year. If it's much of the same in 2017, he should be tossed out on his ass.
I don't like this former Patriots, and former friends uniting as coaches. Bring in some one new, with new ideas, and new system. The only thing I like about this coaching staff is Mike Vrabel, he looks like he has good leadership skills, and has potential to be a good head coach.
In the first press conference of the Texans OTA, Brian T Smith asked Bob : "Coach, I know you are making all the play callings this season for the Texans and hence you don't even have a OC anymore, but what if you are sick and taking a day off or something happened, who will be calling the plays?" Bob : "Its on me."
New England South............. minus the success. Good for Texas-boy Red Raider Wes getting his foot in the door. He loves the game. Maybe he shows Braxton a few moves.
