we have a much reliable version of their current cap situation that fan named alan burge has been supplying: texans' cap alan estimates the team's roughly $16.4M under the cap and that does NOT include money earmarked for unsigned FAs or draft picks. it's strictly who's counting against the cap right now, and includes boselli's restructured deal.
They have to cut Lewis and take the hit, and restructure Coleman. Those two contracts leap out at me as unacceptable!
