Bold move and I love it. I'm glad we didn't stand pat. Especially with Fuller going down again. Good grief neither him or Johnson can complete a full season.
Haven’t read anything about Foreman not returning this season. Whether he can be effective is a different story though. Like Dallas, Buffalo and Jacksonville? 3 Top defenses? Not good but got marginally better each game. The OL continuing to gel and develop is key here.
wait.... so you are telling me that we actually had another GM in the Texans front office before Gaines... and it wasn't just random people at buffalo wild wings making our draft selections?!? Mind blown.
I am excited about this trade. DT still has alot left in the tank. Sure handed. Big, strong, possession WR. He is going to take the pressure off of Dhop... and can take the top off. He is among the fastest WRs in the NFL today. He is going to pay off big. Texans with a big move, and we love it.
With Watson I think he will have something left to give he hasn’t played with anyone good since manning
Seattle 2nd we have made it a lot easier to give up a 4th not that 4th rounders are sure things but hey we needed WR help
In one season he has done more than Smith did in his entire career. Thomas may not work out like some people seem to think (I personally think it will) but it was a move that NEEDED to be made for this franchise to have a chance, and that’s all u can ask for as a fan
Our new GM’s picks have seemed to do pretty well. Let’s see how he does in future but this move needed to be made
Agreed. Didn’t have a first or second and the draft class looks pretty good so far. Hopefully that means his early round picks are even better.
Dude is on pace for 800+ yards and 6 tds playing with noodle arm Keemun. I’ll take that production all day for my second WR to DHOP. With that said I think he gets 600 yards and 5 tds playing with Watson over these last 8 games. That would be borderline pro bowl level play.
Really? Lol The Stars on this team outside of Mathieu all came in before the new GM. This years draft picks have potential but the only one really producing is Justin Reid.
It was an exaggeration obviously smith had what 16 years? Sooner or later u get some picks that work out. Smith had some good picks in earlier rounds but Gaines didn’t even have first or second pick because of smith. Still the jury is out to see how he does in future. When did smith ever make a trade that had potential to make us a true contender. Better yet did smith ever make a trade at all?
Credit to him for getting Watson, Hopkins, and watt. To an extent Clowney but it was pretty obvious barring injuries Clowney should be number 1 pick. For every Watson and watt there was an osweiller, reed, Williams
And u can’t expect Gaines to have brought in any stars, which he already has like you mentioned, in his first year without a first and second pic. His picks are doing as well as you can expect from first year players not in the first or second round.
