Wow that is a HUGE deal for Okung. Guy is never healthy and while a beast in the running game, he is not a good pass blocker. Crazy.
Never played a full season in his career and has missed 24 games since 2010. Yea, he's pretty injury prone

I never said it was a better cap situation than the Texans..... I said that the trade was not simply a salary dump, the Patriots are probably a better team after the deal as it allowed them to add Cooper, Long, Bennett and a 2nd round pick.
You dont need pass blocking if you dont intend on passing a whole lot. CJ Anderson is going to lose a few years off his life this coming up year alone. Plus, Okung battle-fights.
Can Clady play multiple positions? I think we are one of Denver's favorite trade partners after helping out this offseason. I'm sure no bridges were burned.
I don't know if Clady will be healthy again or not, but not only is he a better player when healthy than Okung, he is literally PERFECT for Kubiak's offense. I'm really surprised that they would spend so much for Okung and let Clady go unless they don't believe Clady can get healthy again.
The rumors last week were that they were getting ready to cut him. Salary as stands for next year is $9.5 million, and PFF grade went in the toilet the last couple of years, since he came back from the dreaded Lisfranc injury. So he's a free agent again next year basically, no way lives up to a 12 mil price tag. They'll draft his replacement
