    Well...they are trying.

They had a goal to get faster. Here we go.

Can't pay the QB & RB and then let the lineman walk!

LT Brown is coming off injury
Revolving door at LG although XSF started 9 games
C Ben Jones is a FA
    RG Brooks is a FA
    RT Newton

    Have serious concerns about OLine.

Brooks is probably gone. XSF is not impressive at all. Newton played fine, but not special. Brown wasn't elite anymore to begin with.

Maybe the plan is to use free agency to fill every major hole they can and then use the draft to rebuild the offensive line.

Another great part time fit. I love both of them though I'm less sure about Weddle. Partially because of Texans and veteran free agent safety in the same sentence.

I've read a lot of reports this offseason about Weddle's tape and apparently it is still very good. I mean I wouldn't want to pay him top safety money, but he would be our best safety pretty easily.

Adding Miller and Benjamin would be a serious speed transformation to the offense. I'd next try to keep Ben Jone and Chris Clark, allowing us to kick Newton inside. Clark played well enough last year to be a starter at RT.

Yeah because he has some good traits but isn't an elite player and didn't have en elite year.

If we sign him he'll be the biggest part of a rotation of RBs, not THE man.

Can't tell if you're joking? But no, he will be THE guy. He'd be making far too much money to be part of a rotation

Only one 1,000 yd season won't get you Demarco money

    Tipjar bet?

I bet he doesn't get as many carriers per game as Arian did in healthy games under OBrien.

BOB loves him some Alfred Blue.

Love the Lamar Miller move, if true. LOVEEEEE it. Dude was grossly underutilized in Miami.

I'd give him $5MM right now.

A few things there, yes Obrien loves Blue but again Miller won't be coming here to share the load with him. He'll be a 3 down back. I do agree with you though that he won't receive as many carries as a healthy Foster because a lot of respectable healthy RB's don't. Foster was something special for a four year run

How much of that was just a lack of a better option once Arian went down? There was a whole lotta nothing behind Foster on the depth chart - Blue included.

Blue was the least effective of the options he had.

sign me up as well. For a lock #1 back i'd be happy to pay that. He was inconsistent last year but i'm not sure how much of that was the team usage and/or nagging ankle injury.
